Back in the day, TMPGEnc was the bomb for video conversion. The Pegasys video encoder was the yardstick for others to emulate. I have been messing around with all the popular packages floating around and still not happy. You used to be able to control so many aspects of your conversion, now they are all templates. We shall see what happens. I have been running across some flaky rips lately produced with those packages that needed a tune-up to run well. Adobe video, well I don't need that headache thank you. I don't care to join the ranks of the whiners of why their Adobe rips don't work.

Nope it's lost the features it once had. Moving on to Shutter Encoder, let's see how that works.

I only use 2, Videoproc and HD video converter Factory Pro very simple and super clean conversions for what I do they are the BEST

I'm in love with Shutter Encoder. Granted it may be a little complicated or confusing if you try to deviate from the standard settings. I just was given a VERY rare rip of an extremely limited video. I'll send it up and you tell me if it doesn't do a great job.
The video aspect was not sized correctly, pretty badly interlaced, and my pet peeve not indexed correctly. The audio sync was not uniformly off.
I haven't had to do so much messing with a video since the 90's, it's fun when you know what you are doing and I learned the hard way back then.
I'll up it to you tonight.
